I have been a Realtor in Pensacola since 2009. I was the 2020 Realtor of the Year for the Pensacola Association of Realtors and the 2019 PAR President. I have served on the PAR Board of Directors, the Florida Realtors Board of Directors and National Association of Realtors Board of Directors. I hold the national certifications At Home With Diversity and Military Relocation Professional and I am a Florida Military Specialist and a Renovation Specialist.
I am also one of the first 300 Realtors of the 1.3 million NAR members to have received the Commitment to Excellence Endorsement.
I have twice been named the Pensacola Association of Realtors’ Humanitarian of the Year and I am the President of Water And Youth Safety Pensacola, a non-profit organization dedicated to Making Kids Water SMART to Keep Kids Water SAFE.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I am a graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Broadcast Journalism. I began my career in Jackson, Mississippi, in all-news radio and have also worked as a reporter/anchor at WAPT-TV. I was the PR Director for the Mississippi Department of Education and for the St. Louis Ambush, professional soccer team.
I was vice-president of client relations for an advertising agency in St. Louis, Director of Communications for the College of Engineering at Georgia Tech and VP of sales/marketing for an educational technology company in Milton, Florida.
My late wife, Colleen, was a physical education teacher at Brown-Barge and Ransom middle schools. I have two sons, Will, and Carey. Carey and his wife, Yasmin, have a daughter, Anya, and a son, Benji.
